Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Temporary Closure of: Bridleway 3, Footpath 4 (Part) and Footpath 5 (Part), Ashton Keynes (Ref: TTRO 8845)

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all users:

A) Bridleway 3, Ashton Keynes; from its junction with C45 to its junction with Footpath 5 Ashton Keynes.

B) Footpath 4 (Part), Ashton Keynes; from its junction with Footpath 5, Ashton Keynes for a distance of approximately 180m in a north westerly direction.

C) Footpath 5 (Part), Ashton Keynes; from its junction with Bridleway 3, Ashton Keynes for a distance of approximately 250m in a northerly direction.

To enable: development to be undertaken at the Cotswold Community School site in accordance with planning permission.

Alternative route: via alternative existing highways and rights of way.

The closures and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.

This Order will come into operation on 01 September 2023 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for 06 months. Access will be maintained where possible although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 06 months.
